Western Aero was founded in 1989 as a Colorado-based aviation parts supplier and in-house airframe repair shop, specializing in the Boeing 707.
Today, with our extensive parts inventory and large, on-site repair facility, we have the capabilities to service a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft, including the: B707, E-8A, RC-135, VC-137, VC-25, KC-135, E-6, E-3, E-3A, B727, B737 100-800 series, T-43A, FF-21, VC-96, B747 100-300 series, E-4, E-4B, and VC-25A.
Our repair station is a small business and woman-owned company, which qualifies for GSA contracts under FAR Part 19.001 guidelines and ALC and AFB military set-asides. We are routinely audited by the FAA and also practice sub-tier control on all of our outside vendors.
We also provide a full one-year warranty with all parts that we sell or repair.
And speaking of quality, Western Aero is ASA-100 accredited and recognized by Northrop Grumman as a Platinum source supplier, and by Boeing as a Gold supplier. We are also on the approved vendor lists of Lockheed Martin, AAR Defense, Qantas, the Royal Australian Air Force, Tinker Air Force Base and L3 Communications.
