Approaching Cruising Altitude
When we first started this business, we were known as the “B707 Guys.” Still true, but since then, we’ve also expanded our capabilities to service a wide range of aircraft.
According to Aviation Maintenance magazine, “The commercial segment is forecasted to grow just under 3.5% annually for the next five years. This would give rise to a $51.1 billion industry by 2012.”
However, while the horizon appears bright, there are a still a few challenges to get through first. Over the last few years, we’ve all seen the effects of low-cost carriers, shrinking average fleet sizes, increased outsourcing and massive structural changes.
At Western Aero, we understand the continual pressure to cut costs and are always looking for better ways to increase turn times and offer competitive pricing. We believe that is why we’ve been fortunate to do business with such highly regarded companies as Qantas, Virgin Blue, Evergreen Airlines and Northern Air Cargo.
We accomplish this through: cutting-edge technologies that allow us to diagnose problems without having to necessarily disassemble an airplane, sophisticated monitoring systems, a reliable parts supply chain, on-time performance process improvement, frequent client status updates, and technicians with an average industry experience of 17 years.
So, whether it’s parts or repair for a Boeing 700 series, Airbus, Douglas, or other aircraft, one call to Western Aero is the only call you'll need to make.
